When it comes to AI cheating, however, it's not very feasible to kill it entirely, unless you want your game to lose any semblance of challenge. You'll most likely have to live with the expected levels of TW retardation. Regarding that, I haven't seen anything worthwile being done to the AI myself, but I also haven't played S2 in quite a while. I did see a mod that reduces unit speed and a few promising AI tweaks. This modified version of Darthmod aims to subtly alter the base Darthmod experience to make combat more brutal, visceral-and dangerous-as well as to ever-so-slightly. Unfortunately, I had trouble finding equivalents in the steam workshop. Customized Darthmod is a modified version of the quintessential Total War: Shogun 2 mod, Darthmod, created by the wonderful Darth Vader of the Total War Center. If you can be bothered to search twcenter a little bit, but I am not sure about compatibility.
